Compatibility Modbus RTU Master to Modbus RTU Slave, It's possible?

Hi, every body Happy new year I have a 441-2 card PtP with dongle RTU Master. Is it possible to use Modbus RTU Master in slave mode? |

Hello jaraheein; As you can see in the following FAQ, loadable drivers for the CP 441-2 include a Modbus master and a Modbus slave license, with different part numbers. They are therefore exclusive. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1918186 So they cannot be interchanged, and the CP 441-2 cannot be used as a slave if the licence is for Modbus master. thanks for your time and your help, so bad to the modbus licences, now I do think,I have a big problem. |
