Compiler error with 414H and new CP

Tomcat Posts: 433 Rating: (48)	Hello, I use STEP7 V5.4 + SP3.1 and the current HSP. In HW Config I inserted CPU414-4HJ04-0AB0 with Firmware 4.0 and newCP443-1EX20-0XE0. According to this Release for Delivery it should be possible to use this CPU and this CP (with the old functionality), but the compilation shows an error that the CPU is too old. Please, can anybody help me? What I have to do? Tomcat

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Tomcat, I am really sorry, but this is a fact that can be found in the Documentation of the CP 443-1 EX 20. The CP can run only with H CPUs that have at least the FW V 4.5. Sadly the CPU you use only has a Version 4.0 in the Catalogue, so STEP 7 expects that you have a older version than 4.5 anddeclines the Configuration. I hope the newer Version of the CPU FW will be available soon, also in the latest STEP 7 Version. Best regards J_Bell

That means that you can use new CP (1EX20) only with 3 CPUs currently: 6ES7 412-2HJ14-0AB0 6ES7 414-4HM14-0AB0 6ES7 417-4HT14-0AB These CPUs are shown with Firmware V4.5 in my HW Config. (I'm not happy about this, but at least it's an explanation for the error message.) Best regards Tomcat
