Compiler time

The amount of tag, influence the time of compilation?

This message should rather be a tip and not a question. [smile]
Looking quickly at the time stamps I would agree with what you are suggesting.

My theories on the matter..
when assuming the long compile time was because of the tags:
* many tags might have needed synchronisation
* tags might have complicated routings.

There are some PC related tasks that may have contributed too.
As an example there might have been
* a network drive syncronisation
* virus scan
* background Windows software installation

It would be an interesting exercise to see the same program compile again.

ok, I have another HMI, and has about 800 tags, and that compiles in 2-3 minutes.
