comunication between S7300 and microcontroller with rs485 protocol

senauzn Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a problem and need to help. In my project, i want to make comunication between S7300 and microcontroller with rs485 protocol. The comunication protocol is below: EXCC = “1 + 201 + 2 + byte 1 + byte 2 + byte 3 + byte 4 + 3 + checksum” EXCC( example comunication code) definition is; 1- Start of Header 2- Microcontroller adress 3- Start of Text 4- Byte 1 5- Byte 2 6- Byte 3 7- Byte 4 8- End of text 9- Checksum i need to send this kind of string code to comunicate with microcontroller. I use datablocks to obtain variable bytes contents. I guess i have to use CONCAT block to have EXCC. code. I don't now it's easily way to make this application? But i cant not find sufficient info in this forum about usage of CONCAT block. Please give me information about the usage of CONCAT block. Thanks in advance...

Hello, Communication from S7 300 to a micro controller on physical layer of RS485 may include PROFIBUS or MODBUS.For S7 300, there are some communication processors or integral facility to established mentioned communication protocols with communication partners.If you are using those standard protocols , you can find programming functions in STEP7.For MODBUS,You need to install point to point communication packages or MODBUS master and SLAVE packages. My hardware occurs S7 300 313C 2ptp CPU (with RS-485 Modul), CP343-1 Lean Ethenrnet Modul, Power Supply and I/O modules. I use the CP 343-1 for comunicate between WINCC and i want to use rs-485 modul for comunicate plc and microcontroller. I need to send this kind of code ("1 + 201 + 2 + 49 + 61 + 1.Byte + 2.Byte + 3 ") to the microcontroller. "201" , "49" , "61" , 1. Byte , 2. Byte are variable terms. I obtain these terms in different data blocks. So i need to combine my datablocks into another datablock and send the complete data to microcontroller... How can i do this? Thanks in advance...

Hello , For such a CPU, Integral PTP port supports ASCII and 3964(R) protocols.The partner as in this case ,your micro-controller, should support the basic settings required for a protocol such same baud rate , selected data frame and data flow setting e.g for ASCII protocol.The partner also needs to recognize the frame sent from the peer and provide response in proper time.For that, you should know all details about using protocol and timing for each baud rate. As far as I know, we can not send our defined set of data to integral PTP point to create our protocol. Best regards Hamid Hosseini
