	Last edited by: UMENCHO at: 8/21/2009 6:22 AM I test it with PLCSIM 5.4 SP3 + DASSIDIRECT 1.5 SP1 + Intouch 10.0. BTW this "tool" works only with PLCSIM 5.4 or higher.

This includes S7 program (data which will be exchange between PLC and SCADA) and also hardware configuration ( the way how will be communicate PLC and SCADA). In our case this will be ethernet CP. 2. Start the PLCSIM. (Note! Only version 5.4 or higher works). Set PG/PC Interface to (PLCSIM) TCP/IP. (from SP3) 3. Into System Managment console (Intouch' side) make normal parametizations like you'll connect to real CP via DASSIDIRECT Server. If you use, I think search field here, you can find more details about this. 4. Set IP address into computer network card to be the same like IP address of CP. (For example if in hardware configuration you put 192.168.0.1, put the same IP into computer network card.) 5. Just start NetToPLCSim and push connect. Probably you'll receive error about port 102 is in use or similar... just in command line write: net stop s7oiehsx. (this process is mostly caused by the Siemens-Service SIMATIC IEPG Help Service which comes with the Step 7 installation). That's it. If you have more question, let me know. Regards, Hristo Mihalev

First of all, thanks for detailed definition it is very useful. But I have a problem about that simulation stuff, I prepared project in Simatic Manager using CPU 315-2DP/PN, started PLCSIM and set PG/PC interface to (PLCSIM)TCP/IP. In system management console I set parameters and made adjustments on DASSIDIRECT. I set IP address into computer network card. I started NetToPLC program.Uptohere everything is OK (at least it seems so). But in scada screentag values thatI prepared (exisiting in PLC) are not changing. And in systemmanagement console no value is shown for device items. Could you please share with me possibilities, what is my wrong? I'll be very gladfor your help. In my opinion problem is about connection between DASSIDirect and NetToPLCSim because tags are active but they are not listed or counted in"read request" section in NetToPLCSim.
