Comunication s300 315F-2-DP to Hydraulic controller bosch rexroth VT-HNC100...3X via Profibus

Hello everybody,

I'm new in topics about automation currently I'm working with a S300 with a CPU  315F-2-DP and I'm trying to connect this device with a Hydraulic Controller Bosch Rexroth model VT HNC 100x with 4 axis via Profibus as master - slave where the S300 is the master and de Hydraulic Controller is the slave, I know I need to install a GSD file  in step 7 to use the features of the Hydraulic Controller, but I have some questions.

1.When I need to add the modules of the Hydraulic controller. How do I know which modules are the correct to be add? 

2.What else do I need to do to configure succesfully this comunication?

Someone has a tutorial or a guide to check the procedure to configure this comunication.

Hi user,

it depends on your device, what kind of moduls you need to install or configure. some devices have an own interface where you can select how your communication between master and slave should work and where you can define your interface. I´m not sure but in your case you need an other software to configure your Bosch-System, i think "Indra-Work" will be right.  

You should choose the right Baudrate and Profibusnumber. And the Interface should be the same on both sides. Inputs on the one sides are outputs on the other. How your interface looks like depends on what you want to do.
