First of all, I like to thank Mr. Pegaia for sharing knowledge. Its very helpfull.

I apologize, but Im still not able to undestand concept of variables in Faceplates (Popus).

Let say, Im not using UDT.

I have one faceplate. There I have in Property interface tag TAG, which is Configuration string. I put this Faceplate on my screen and entered "=10-01"

In that faceplate I have button, which serves to call Detail popup.

I used that code to open popup.

let po = Faceplate.OpenFaceplateInPopup("Popup_ActuatorSimple_V_0_0_15", "Valve Butterfly", data);

In Detail popup I have this part of code in Loaded Event

let value5 = Faceplate.Properties.PI_TagText;

But when I debug script the value5 is empty string. I know that im missing something. but I dont know what.

if you open a faceplate in popup from a faceplate  (faceplate in faceplate) you cannot define a specific interface, all interfaces are automatically inherited.

so you can get access to all interface elements as you would do in the parent faceplate.

(only if you call a popup from faceplate)
