Dear All, I have a Profibus PA / Foundation Fieldbus transmitter : http://www.prelectronics.com/pdf/5350A-2201-US.pdf and a DP/PA coupler Ex [ia]: I config DP/PA coupler Ex [ia] in Step 7 simatic but I don’t see Hardware in “HW Config” of Step 7. Then I don’t config for it. Can you help me connect two device via Profibus PA? Thanks for All.. |

Hello AchutVn2T, if you dont see HW of DP/PA coupler in your HW catalog, download the GSD file for it and install in HW catalog. You will find GSD file of your coupler here: PROFIBUS GSD files : LINK If you use external master you might also need this: How do you connect the IM 157/IM 153-2 in the DP/PA Link to an external master or a SIMATIC S5? (GSD tool) regards |

Dear all, Come back to my project. Now, I still don't connect PR 5350 to PLC CPU314 2PN/DP via DP/PA coupler (157-0AD82-0XA0). I thing have two reson: - DP/PA coupler (157-0AD82-0XA0) can't conect to PR 5350 (Profibus PA). Or - PR 5350 wrong in hardware. If you did same my project, could you help me? Thanks for all!
