"Configuration database" link error!

kenansatir Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	I'm seeking a solution to "Cannot link the configuration database to the Runtime project" error (after compiling any new project) ... I've searched all the forums but there is no real answer... When i look to the SQL Server, there is no database (except system database) in the WinCC instance. Please help. My System : WinCC Pro V11 SP2 Update 4 Windows 7 Home x32 SP1 Windows SQL Server 2005 Express SP4 Attachment WinCC Error.jpg (598 Downloads)

kenansatir Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hi dear Tweety, I do not use migrating. Just opening any sample project and compiling for simulation. Which connection do you mean? Ofcourse i'm the admin user in the system. Yes, my user is in the SIMATIC HMI group. Does this problem derive from my Turkish operating system? I followed all the installation directives of WinCC about turkish systems. (changing language settings to english)... Thanks

Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (192)	Hello, you delete the "IM" folder in your project directory. Then you use the function "Rebuild all" in WinCC V11, the "IM" folder is produced newly. Tweety

(Options - Settings - [Storage settings]) The default storage location in Windows 7 is C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Automation If you change the storage location to an other location, check thepermissionsof this folder. They must be the same as the default storage location. If all this is too complicated return to the default storage location and it will work.

I've tried all permissions both SQL Server & OS.

kenansatir Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hi Tweety, Unfortunately the problem still exists. I can not find the solution and reason. Problem occure on every project. Now i'm working on another pc. The installed softwares are same but there is no problem at this one. Very interesting.
