In this case i suggest to follow the steps from below FAQ: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109778709 Hope it helps. Br, Cocolino

If you create a new project from that PC are you able to load the projec successfully? If not, I would check compatibility between your Windows version and TIA Portal version. Br, Cocolino

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 4/28/2025 Posts: 15368 Rating: (1895)	Hello Varun@Cst the simulation component of your TIA V17 Installation is damaged. then you cannot simulate in every version that is installed on the System. there is an easy fix for this.-> Insert the TIA Portal V17 Installation DVD and do a Repair Installation. The Simulation component will be repaired and then It should work in any other TIA version that you have installed on your System. Bye Murof
