Hello Arun_EEE hard to say if it will work or not as you are a bit slim on detail. Questions: 1.) What type of "Field Slaves" do you intend to connect to each CP343-1 LEAN? If these are Profinet I/O devices it will NOT work as the CP343-1 LEAN can NOT be used as a PN I/O Controller (see alsoWhat differences exist in the 300-series Industrial Ethernet CPs? for more on this) 2.) Do you have any particular reasons for having 3 CP343-1 LEAN cards in each PLC over and on top of using the CPU's PN port? (it seems like an overkill andyour Design could perhaps be simplified andless costly)? I hope this helps |

Thanks for your reply fritz.. Actually I have 4 PC with wincc flexible runtimes with S7 300 CPUs.. These are not connected into a single network. all the 4 CPUs, 4 PCs & CP343-1 Lean modules have the same I.P address.. all are in profinet protocol.. ET200s, drives & Pn-Pn couplers are it's slaves.. These same kind of slaves are used in all 4 CPUs... Now our customer wants to monitor all the 4 HMI runtimes's from one SCADA system.. But our client is not ready to change the I.P addresses of the existing system as they are running and production is going on.. They dont want to disturb the existing system... all the CP343-1 lean modules are connected to slaves and are in use.. So we have planned to introduce another CP343 module for each CPUs.. then assign individual I.P address for the newly introduced CP343 modules.. and connect all these 4 newly introduced CP343 modules into a single network with ethernet cable to the central scada system... so that i can access all the CPUs memory and tag values via newly introduced CP343 modules.. then I will re create the HMI screens in SCADA and establish communication between all the 4 CPUs and with the scada system... so that I can monitor & controll all the systems from one central scada system... That is wat we have designed... Is this correct??? Or is there any simpler method available....? I am attaching the Existing config and proposed config for ur perusal.. Kindly go through this and advice me accordingly.. I'd really aprreciate ur help... AttachmentConfig.pdf (55 Downloads) |
