configure a set of s7-1200 PLCs through a webserver

sebomstian Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	My current project is currently on hold till a couple of weeks. I havent gotten any time to look into the signalfilter. Me and my class has gotten a new and big project. Now we are in the planning phase. The task is to configure a set of s7-1200 PLCs through a webserver. We got a fully working server that we access with remote desktop, on this server we want to make a web-server that all the computers on a small local network can access to. The uploaded attachment shows what i think graphically. We need to make the website(html or other languages), attach all the plc's to a switch and then to the server. There's lots of things to be done, and we dont really got a time limit on this project. My first question to you is: Is this even possible? Is there a manual or other documentation regarding my task? Other info: We got the ethernet extra module for s7-1200. Splitted from S7-1200 pid_compact, analog output problem.. Attachment task.JPG (768 Downloads)

sebomstian Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	When will FW 2.0 and TIA V11 come out? Its the new software right? So you suggest that we should have a webbserver for each plc? The reason we wanted to do it as i explained in my last comment is because we already have a server dedicated for it. But if it's impossible or very hard to do so, maybe we'll try your solution.

I suggest use the Web interface of the S7-1200 because it is relactive easy to implement and doesn't need addtional HW or SW (driver).
