                I have two s7-400 cpu 1) CPU412-2DP     2)CPU416-2DP

         I need to data interchange between two CPU.now we are using put&get function. i need to data transfer in global data communication method also. Any body tell me how to establish the configuration in NET PRO. what are the procedure to develope the program in netpro.Now both cpu hardware wiring done. need to be done the netpro also.pls guide me.                                               

Question: I need to both S7 station in a single net pro programming.

i read in help menu to establish configuration, the reduced subnet length and trag the mouse to MPI connection not able to connect. so tell me how do edit it.

                           we are using GLOBAL DATA COMMUNICATION for data exchange between two S7-400 CPU                             

i try to increase the lenth of the data exchange,i m edit the GD TABLE select the sent/receive option.i dont know how to edit or create the GD ID. can you guide me how to create the GD ID.

              Here i attached my netpro backup and my GD TABLE. pls guide me.

  the configuration u have done is correct but...

 The maximum data that can be communicated in S7400 using global data communication is 54 BYTES .

hence no more entries are possible i guess..

what is the maximum data length u need to send and receive??

                       i go through that configuration manual,now i edit the GD TABLE and after compile the GD ID automatically created.now my project GD function data transfer between two plc working good.here i attached my edited GD TABLE.,

              My issue is solved.Once again thanks to all my reply and guidance.
