you don't need to use OPC to connect Siemens PLC with Siemens HMI Runtime.

Please give us more information about your system and requirements (TIA version resp. Step 7 classic, eventually screenshots).

if the PLC is not in the project, you can use a proxy device: Combined configuration with WinCC (TIA Portal) and STEP 7 V5.x or Combined configuration with WinCC (TIA Portal) and STEP 7 (TIA Portel) in separate projects

To do it this way, you need the PLC software, either an upload, but better the original source code.
