As example: You can drive an DC-Motor with DC-Power-Unit. And for Speed (RPM) Comand is 10V DC Voltage. (S7 Analog out . . . or ADI4... ) Tell us more.

SteveA Posts: 297 Rating: (41)	I have never used it, but the 840D/611D supports both a plain V/f mode and a more advanced IM mode to operate a motor without an encoder. Both options are described in the manual "Function Manual Drive Functions 611D/840D/810D, section DE1, Extended Drive Functions, Detailed Description. Section 2.1 covers IM operation, and 2.2 covers V/f mode. Have you studied this and still have questions? SteveA
