Hello ragee; There is a CP 342-2 that slots into a S7-300 "rack" and acts as a As-i master, and there are several DP-As-i link which connect as slaves on DP and act as masters over their As-i network. In both cases you reserve a range of 16 bytes ion the CPU's memory for the As-i slaves, which are distributed as seen in the attached document. 16 bytes is enough for 31 slaves (at 4 bits each) and one byte for diagnostics (the first one). You will find theequivalent table in both of these manuals: S7 As-I master CP 342-2: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/5581657 DP-As-I link 20: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/33563718 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
