Hello Tekabi; I have a bit of experience with Profibus-DP, and I have never heard of this "configured station" method . If you mean that when you use an intelligent slave (i.e. a CPU or a CP 342-5) as a slave to a S7-300 or S7-400 master you must start by configuring the slave in its own program, then import that slave configiuration in the master's configuration, that is the normal way of using an i-slave. Since the "configured statioon" method does not exist officially, it is difficult to find documentation on this theoretical construct. But in the following link, along with many other Profibus-DP samples, you will find examples of a S7-300 or CP 342-5 as master and slave, with step-by-step demonstration on how the link is built-up: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/7764609 Study the samples you require, you should find answers to your questions. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
