I've got the trouble during configuration CM PtP RS422/485 HF module for Modbus-RTU connection. 

The Modbus_Comm_Load instruction doesn't execute CM parameters setting up: DONE and ERROR are always FALSE and STATUS = 16#7000.

Actual system configuration:

- TIA Portal V14

- Modbus (RTU) library V3.1 incl. Modbus_Comm_Load V3.0

- CPU 1513 6ES7 513-1AL01-0AB0 firmware V 2.0.1

- CM 6ES7 541-1AB00-0AB0 firmware V 1.0.1

They say there is the same problem with CPU 1200 and it can be solved by using Modbus library instead of Modbus (RTU).

There is no such library in my application.

Is there a workable solution?

maybe idea, how you know or be sure that DONE isn't / wasn't in TRUE? Did you check with some condition in code? Don't be sure if you see that in online code. Try that condition with some set of DO visibly or some memory bit.

 The DONE bit is set during one cycle if the Modbus_Comm_Load instruction have been completed. If I check the flag like:

A DONE

S M*.*

I see nothing. It seems the instuction never done and the status is always 16#7000

pls for first also check William's link with his topic, some other needed parameters are there and also pls pay attention to known problem with comm_load instance DB where you must chcek/change MODE value to 4 - RS485 2 wire, this can be problem if you have other value there, hope you want use RS485 2 wire connection. Can you confirm really value 7000 in STATUS of COMM_LOAD? No any ERROR bit also set? Sry I have TIA V12 and only values from 16#8181 are there. Check that and give us info.

The Modbus (RTU) v3.1 library works correctly!)))

It's important just to follow the HELP instructions carefully.
