Hi T_Ebrahem, To be honest, I have no idea how to do this with the old WinCC Comfort Panel. For the WinCC Unified Comfort Panel, however, you can make a backup remotely. This is usually done via TIA Portal or SIMATIC ProSave. Another option is to perform the backup on the device itself and store the result on an external storage medium. And if you are using a system memory card, you can make an automatic backup to this card. FTP is not supported by a WinCC Unified Comfort Panel, although it may be available in the depths of the Debian-based operating system. So you will probably need your own software to perform an automatic remote backup. This may be possible using the SIMATIC Automation Tool SDK. However, you should be aware that a backup will only be possible if the runtime is stopped. To be honest, since you have not yet purchased any hardware, I would recommend that you contact the technical consulting with your requirements. Kind regards |
