But his name was "von Siemens", Werner von Siemens. Sorry for the late elaboration, but perhaps you are both correct? Born Werner Siemens. Died Werner von Siemens after being ennobled in 1888.

But still correct is Werner von Siemens. BTW if anyone has interest, I own some original Werner von Siemens "medal of honor", made of bronze. One also with original papers. My idea would be 500 Euro each? If you like, just send me an email.

I just want to tell, filling gold bricks is not an easy work, filling platin brick is really hard work. It takes more time, lot of posts,....etc.Which of course reflects amount of knowledge.
