connecing profibus by USB/MPI

Oscar_83PL Bronze Member Joined: 10/22/2008 Last visit: 4/19/2025 Posts: 374 Rating: (5)	Ok, And what if I changed MPI Bus speed to 1.5Mbit/s, I connected HMI to that Bus as well as PLC. I compiled the program and in WinnCC there is still 12Mbit/s. What wrong did I do?

Dear Oscar_83PL, As I can understand from you, I think you have not integrate your WinCC Flexible project with step7 or maybe not properly integrated. see my atttach:- 1] page1- open the winCC flexible project and integrate with step7 2] page2- after you have successfully integrate the project, you will see your WinCC flexible porject appearin step7 windows. 3] page3- go to netpro setup in step7 and change the baud rate setting [e.g 12Mbps]. save and compile. 4] page4- whateverbuad rate/transmission rate that you haveset inyour netpro will appear in your winCC flexible project connection page as shown [e.g 12Mbps] Infuture if you want to change the transmission rateof the system again, you canjust change it in netpro setup. I had project integrated in STEP7 however when i changed baud rate in netpro there was no change in WinCC project. I reintegrated project and integrated it again and now it is OK. Your intagrating projects tutorial would be great help but now it looks fine. Thanks for all help Best regards Siemens user
