I share with you my tests to connect a printer to a MTP... and my issues 

I used the siemens documentation (page 49) : HWUnifiedComfortPanels

I have a Brother printer HL-L2370DN.

I use CUPS 2.3.3op2 (with MTP fimware v18.0.0.3)

1. Connection through Ethernet port :
   1. I connected the printer but impossible to find a tool to configurate a printer on Ethernet
2. Connection in USB
   1. I connected the printer in USB.
   2. In CUPS (tool to configure printers from MTP), there is a little list of 12 printers (see attached picture). I tried to print a test page in the HL-L2360D printer It doesn't work (not exactly the same Brother reference)
   3. I tried others but it doesn't work...

I have now some questions :

• Is there a specific documentation to configure printers on a MTP?
• Is it possible to connect a printer in Ethernet?
• Is it possible to us others printers than pre-defined in the MTP?
• Is it possible to install printer drivers?

I don't know if somebody here has tested printer & MTP connectivity? I will be so interested by another experience of the comunity. I ask here before to contact the support.
