Analog input module SM 331; AI 8 x 12 bit; (6ES7 331-7KF02-0AB0) Analog input module SM 331; AI 8 x RTD; (6ES7331-7PF01-0AB0) Analog input module SM 331; AI 2 x 12 Bit; (6ES7331-7KB02-0AB0) Regards, Marcjan

dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 9/15/2024 Posts: 12282 Rating: (2683)	Hello pooneh; Here is ^part of the description of the SM 334, from the following manual: SIMATIC S7-300 S7-300 Automation System Module Data Order number 6ES7334-0CE01-0AA0 Properties ● 4 inputs in one group and 2 outputs in one group ● Resolution 8 bits ● Programmable measurement type at each channel group – Voltage – Current ● Not programmable, measurement and output type defined by hardwiring So unless your PT100 comes with a 4-20 mA transmitter, you cannot connect your temperature sensor directly to a SM 334 analog input channel. If you do have a 4-20 mA transmitter, then you would need FC 105 "SCALE" from the TI-S7 library to scale the 4-20 mA signal to the engineering values (temperature in Celcius or Fahrenheit degrees) that you want to display. Other analog modules are programmable for temperature (RTD-PT100) readings, for example the 6ES7334-0KE00-0AB0 having 4 AI/2AO channels, or the 6ES7331-1KF02-0AB0 with 8 AI channels, and various others described in the same manual. Ayman Elotaify Platinum Expert Joined: 5/28/2008 Last visit: 9/9/2024 Posts: 4515 Rating: (839)	Hello, If you want to connect your PT100 directly to an AI module, you can use one of the following modules: 6ES7 331-1KF02-0AB0and set the connected AI to RTD (in HW config.) 6ES7331-7PF01-0AB0 Otherwise, you have to follow sugesstions of MArcjan & dchartier. -milad- Posts: 35 Rating: (1)	hi i have same problem in connecting of pt100 to the sm 334 with that same order number but i use a 3 wire transmitter (SITRANS TK) with order number: 7NG312*--1JN01 i have output on FC105 but it's not actual (it shows 41 'C for room tepmrature) i'm not sure about wirring of transmitter to the module how can i fix this problem? thank so much Attachment Capture.JPG (592 Downloads)
