I would like to know if it's possible to connect my laptop with TIA V13 to an IP. This IP is a M874 with 3G card (MtoM).

Behind M874,  there is a S7-1200.

Is this possible without setting up VPN ?

A lot depends on the contract with the mobile Internet operator.
If you have contracted a private APN (means you have a kind of private network in the mobile network), the IP address of M874 can be reached directly (you can ask for a fixed IP in the private network), and the M874 can act as a pure router. Because the APN is private, the security dépends on the security inside the private network (who is internally allowed to reach the M874).

If you have a standard contract (just like everyone that surfs on the Internet with his smartphone), the M874 joins a public APN. Because the APN is public, a VPN is in my opinion the only secure way to proceed (to besure who is accessing + encryption).
In that kind of scenario, the M874 should have the initaitive to start the VPN tunnel, because standard contracts allocate a dynamic IP address to the M874 (the address changes over time) and in most cases the IP address of the M874 is private Natted address (not reachable directly).
To create such tunnels, you have Sinema Remote connect as one possibility.

My provider SFR replied me with 2 offers:

First: APN M2MINTERNET

Private IP address

NAT/PAT is OK

All outgoing port TCP/UDP is open.

All incoming port is closed.

Second: APN M2MPREMIUM

Public and dynamic IP address

Only incoming port TCP and UDP > 1024, ICMP, GRE, IPSec

What is the best deal for my application ?

What are the ports used by TIA to communicate with a S7-1200 through M874 ? Port: 102 is correct ?
