Hello dieego; Duris_I is quite correct in his list of required parameters , but I would like to add an important step: have you configured the gateway in your Profibus-DP master correctly? You have not discussed that yet. Which software do you use to program your S7 CPU? Simatic Manager (Step 7 v5.5) or TIA Portal (Step 7 v13, SP1 for example)? it would be helpful if you told us which so we may adapt our replies to your programming tools. The DP-master receives all pertinent information on a DP-slave through its gsd file. The manual for the AC1376 shows where to locate it in the ifm website (see section 9.8). You then download it to a directory of your choice on the computer on which Step 7 is installed. You must then integrate it in the programming software of the DP-master; instructions are available here: Step 7 v5.5 : What are the differences between the GSD files and the integrated meta-knowledge in the HW Config? See point no.2 for the procedure to integrate a new gsd file in the HWConfig editor. TIA Portal: How Can You Integrate a Drive into the TIA Portal via the Device Master File (GSD)? The attached document shows how to integrate a new gsd file in section 2.2.2 The ifm manual shows you how to proceed once you have created a slave in the PLC program; remen=mber that the Profibus address you use for the ifm gateway in the PLC program must match the one you select in the gateway's configuration window. Please see if the instructions above are helpful, and come back to us if there are any issues. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
