Hello jmlai Although some users say:
it is possible to read / write data from MS SQL Server via VBScript on Siemens HMI. I tested below code on simulation for TP1200 Comfort PRO and it works !!!
I hope it helps... Also look: https://automationscript.com/uft/vbscript-to-connect-to-sql-server-and-run-query/ Barış |

Hello Baris Yes you have testet it in SIMULATION that is running on a PC. Here the Script objects of the PC are available. But this will not run on a Real Panel!! In this case you have to consider the local ressources and script functionalities of the Panel. Bye Murof |

Hi Murof, Ok, some of my friends also told me, in spite of it runs on simulation, it doesn't work on real HMI hardware. In the first place, that script i wrote above which is running on simulation, communicates the SQL server on the same local computer as with the simulation. That could introduce some troubles when using real Siemens HMI. So, i don't want to mislead the users, this works on simulation, not on real HMI panel !!!. Bye, Baris |
