Hello Morgenstern; There are many protocols you can use between S7 CPUs, connecting through the integrated Profinet port; Profinet, TCP/IP, ISO-on-TCP..., and various function blocksand communication functions to .select based on the amount of data you need to transfer; the smallest amount of bytes (and easiest to program) would use PUT/Get functions, the largest BSend/BRcv blocks.
