I´m a bit new in all this configuration world...so please bear me.

I have tried to follow the manual and everything goes well until I try to download the hardware and software to the PC Station (page 28 in the manual). When I try to download it, the IE_general doesn´t show up.

I attach some screenshots so that it is easier for you to check what I am doing wrong. I don´t know what else to try...

I am using a PLC 1211C DC/DC/DC and a virtual machine with TIA Portal V14 SP1 Update 5.

which Version of Simatic Net do you have installed on the PC Station?

do you have loaded the xdb File into the station configurator of the PC Station befor you do a download?

Show us a Screenshot of the Station configurator.

You were right, I imported the xdb file and I was able to download the configuration to the PC Station. However, when I continue with the manual and try to create the OPC items in the OPC Scout, the server doesn´t show up.

I attach some screenshots so that you can see what I am missing.

Okey, I have done it. It was under the folder \SYM. It works.
