hi experts

we have a few plc s7300 which all of them have PN port and are conected to each other by ethernet

(TCP/IP) and a few pc which wincc explorer are installed to them and operators control process,each of these wincc are independent from the others ,i mean when i make a change in one of pictures in one of them ,i see the changes in that pc in runtime but not in others,now i wanna add a another pc to laboratory ,we have just connected a cable from switch (all devices connected to each other by this ) to LAN port of pc ,what is the other steps to do?

is it needed to install a special softwares to pc?

this depends what you will do with this PC.

If it is a SCADA station install WinCC, is it a engineering PC for the PLC install Step7.

we installed wincc but couldnt stablish any connection with plcs,

we installed simatic net also ,and sets PC/PG interface to TCP/IP

,and note that all of the cpu in the project  are added in communication driver in wincc

actually no,i dont know how to ping ?can you tell me then i can try it .

also i want to know is it needed to change the ip address of pc ?

open a cmd shell

type ping <IP> for IP use the IP which is assigned to the PLC.

Yes the PC should be in the same IP Subnet like the PLC.
