Dear Alfie, do it. If the device you have is worth it, it has to work. The pin 11 and 13 are the Supply for the +20mA TTY Loop. Best regards J_Bell |

Hi, Alfie, The pin 14 you have used is not suitable to feed power into current loop, because it is named on the page 3-25 of the CP143TF manual (se attachment in private post) as "Master scan", therefore, this is simply signal output of logic IC.
