Hello colleagues,

I have controller Logo 0BA7 & Touch-panel KTP400 Basic which are connected through Ethernet cable.

But distance between devices are about 200 meters and connection is not established for such distance. Сable has been installed already (8 wires). It was checked: if devices are close to each other then connection is establised.

Could I use extender to provide connection between them and use the same cable(200 m)?

So far I have two options: 

1. PSI-MODEM-SHDSL/PB - 2313656 (Industrial PROFIBUS extender) Phoenix Contact

2. PSI-MODEM-SHDSL/ETH - 2313643 (Industrial Ethernet extender) Phoenix Contact

Which one should I use? Do I need to configure something in them? Maybe there are other devices which I can use.

over Profibus you can use Line lengt up to 1000m with transfer rate 9,6kBit/s to 187,5kBits and 1,5MBit/s with 200m line length.

Which protocol do devices use for connection Profibus or Ethernet? In accordance with FAQ Profinet is used. Therefore Line length is 100 m for this case.

So in this case we should use PSI-MODEM-SHDSL/ETH - 2313643 (ethernet extender), shouldn't we?

Logo doesn't support Profibus. Logo only supports TCP / IP with the S7-200 protocol.
