yes, you can use the DP/DP-coupler to connect your S7-1500 with an other DP-mastersystem.

Otherwise can you use also a DP/PN-cpupler.
The advantage is that you need not a CPU with PB or a CM to connect to the DP-mastersystem at your S7-300.
