Connection problem S5 with Lauer HMI

Spud2408 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi I have problem. I have the old system with S5 115U CPU 943 (with 2 TTY) which is connected with HMI Lauer PCS090 on TTY2 and it is working perfect. Now I`m making new same maschine whith same system, HMI Lauer which is connected with S5 115U CPU 943 B (with 1 TTY), I upload the same program to CPU and to HMI, only difference is that HMI is now connected to TTY 1 (becouse this CPU has only 1 TTY) could this be a reason why HMI is showing: -connection error- -wrong DB- What is the difference between CPU 943(with 2 TTY) and 943B (with 1)? Thanks

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	In the single serial interface, the interface port uses AS511 protocol for communicationusing TTY signals. If there is a second interface, the SI2 (second serial interface) of the CPU couldbeconfiguredto communicate in different protocols such as point-to-point, ASCII, 3964R etc. May be your HMI is using some protocol other than AS511. Did you try connecting new HMI on the old CPU?

But normali S5 program that I put on this CPU with one SI is made for CPU with two SI and I think that protocol for this HMI is also AS511. I don t know what to do if problem is in CPU it is not a problem to buy a new.

Now, I do not know what FB50 is, what is the FB name?
