Connection Problem with S110 CU305 PN FW : 04.40.45

Dear Sirs,

I need to adjust a S110 CU305 PN firmware version: 04.40.45 with Starter software V4.5.1.5. 

It seems like V4.5.1.5 only supports 04.40.44 for CU305 PN. I couldn't establish any connection.

What should I do? Is downgrading S110 the only way?

 It sounds weirdly. If  you say youre newest Starter supports the version 04.40.44  that lower that youre hardware has. Anyway there should be support the version 04.40.45 that is higher.

When I check "Help -> Installed devices" it says "SINAMICS SINAMICS S110 CU305 PN V4.4.3 V4.40.44.00 SSP SINAMICS V4.4 SP3 V04.40.44.00_11.26.00.00 "

Maybe I should find a newer SSP but from where? Are you sure Starter V4.5.1.5 should support 04.40.45?

 Anyway, you can install Starter 4.3. Sp3 and try to make connection.

P.S. I think there is no big difference between 04.40.45 and 04.40.40 because they belong to same firmware 04.4.

The problem is on the attachment. It detects the S110 bus node but with a question mark and I could not accept it to the project.

 But the same question mark you have on the CPU line. It seems it's general issue. It doesn't depend on FW version.

True. Nevertheless, I don't need Starter for S7-1200, thanks to TIA Portal.

The connection between my pc and S110 is with an ethernet cable from S110's X150PN(LAN).

 There are lots of variants:

• reinstall Starter;
• as you have TIA, you can add Startdrive;
• check net settings;
  
• and so forth;
