But the pc is infected by virus, so we are planning to restore the OS using recover CD . When I checked the automation license manager, found SIMATIC NCM PC software license under CONTRACT LICENSE option(see attachment). My doubt is if am formating this pc, the license also get format or not ?? Is there is anything to taken care before doing the restore? regards VIPZ Attachment license4.JPG (306 Downloads)

I would recommend to use attached Restore-DVD for installation - you would not need to install additional driver because in the image everything needed is enclosed. Driver installation is necessary if you use Recovery-DVD. But didnt take the NCM license in pendrive, after that i have installed the simatic net 2006. Then contract license also get installed. I have read FAQ about single, floating license , but couldnt find info about contract license. So i would like to know more about its properties.. Regards Vipz
