control an elevator

THUAIA Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Hello, I'm using a PLC S7-1200 in Tia 2012. I want to control a elevator for a school project and I need some functions, to store the commands given to the elevator, to execute them in order that I recived. I think that FC84, FC85 can help me but I cannot find them. I can to convert them for using in 1200? Thx.

Hi THUAIA, table functions are only available in s7-300/s7-400, not in s7-1200, that's why you can't find them. Now to store data you can use fieldwrite and fieldread. Check this FAQ and see if it helps: How do you program the "FieldRead" and "FieldWrite" instructions in STEP 7 Basic V10.5? Hope this solves your problems. Kind regards, Jens
