control motor speed

meghyasi Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	dear expert & all hi I want rotate motor in every speed with drive (sinamics s120). drive is commissioned with PLC. I can control motor with HMI or PLC but I want rotate motor without PLC and only by drive for maintenance and diagnostic of encoder. but I can not do it by drive when over, I change CDS in control panel from 0 to 1. I thing parameters in expert list is not OK and must be change. (If is it true)which parameters must be change? please help us.

S7 AUTOMAN Posts: 515 Rating: (56)	Hi meghyasi, Try read the manual for the drive thoroughly and check whether is there any option like control through keypad(through drive keys) and control remotely(by PLC) which might be set initially during drive parameterisation. Try to set it through keypad and try. Also take your time and read the manual thoroughly for better understandings of the drive parameterisation please

AOP30, switch toLOCAL mode, you can start/stop the drive bycommand keys on the panel 2. Starter software, open "Control Panel" to control the drive

meghyasi Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	we don't have AOP30 . i tried it with starter but there are a problem . suddenly speed go to 1450 rpm when i changed CDS from 0 to 1 and pushed green 1 button, in control panel of starter. i think some parameters must be change. but i don't know which one.

Hi, use p 810 for CDS change over , assign a DI for this say r722.0(first DI),the value is reflected in r 50. use 700(1):-via drive local:-2 terminal use 1000(1) :- setpoint source : fixed freq (alternatively 1070(1)=r1024) use 840(1): sorce of start cmd:r 722.1(say 2nd DI) hope this works regards Ashutosh
