Control word one for Sinamic and MasterDrives

Hello all

I want to ask that master drive control word is same as sinamic control word.if not then how can i make it same.u can see control word of masterdrive shown in given figure

You may want to search for a Masterdrive manual so see the bit definitions and do a compare, but, since they are both based on the PROFIDRIVE specification, they should be the same.

I could be wrong.

thanx bro now my question is that a bit which will high ,it connects with B1 (binnector fixed setpoint1)

in masterdrives.so which bit b resemble with B1 in sinamics

Found a Masterdrives VC manual.  For the control word,

Bit 0 - Off1
Bit 1 - Off2
Bit 2 - Off3
Bit 3 - Inverter Enable
Bit 4 - Ramp Generator Enable
Bit 5 - Ramp Generator Not Hold/Hold
Bit 6 - Setpoint Enable
Bit 7 - Acknowledge Fault
Bit 8, 9 - Jog Forward/Reverse
Bit 10 - Control by PLC (fieldbus)

The rest have other functions that I don't feel like typing and are probably not used.  These exactly match up to the G/S120 Control Word.  So, whatever exiting logic you have now should still work the same way.

The Control words in Masterdrive and SINAMICS would be largely same if PROFIDRIVE Profile is used. However there can be subtle differences.

e.g. in CUVC  - CW Bit 8 & 9 are used for Jog but in SINAMICS these are reserved and can be used assigned for Jog / any other application.

If we use Free Beco Mode then Control work can be almost freely structured as per user's requirements.

 Hi, they are completely different, the first 7 bits (bits 0 to 6)are the same, but from bit 7 (8'th bit of control word) to the end are mostly different and if you don't change your control word or set the drive parameters correctly, your drive doesn't work properly.
