Controll 6RA80 from Allen Bradley PLC over Profibus

DEAR ALL,

I NEED TO CONTROL 6RA80 FROM ALLEN-BRADLEY PLC OVER

PROFIBUS.WHAT PARAMETERS ,I NEED TO SET IN DRIVE FOR SPEED REFERENCE

START/STOP,ACTUAL CURRENT,FIELD FAULT ETC.

CAN ANYBODY TELL ME THE PARAMETERS OF DRIVE ,WHICH I NEED

TO SET OR PROGRAM.

Hello,

you need to configure the drive with the tool STARTER. There you can also define the communication. Either you select a standard PROFIdrive telegram (e.g. 1, 352,...) or you set up a free configured telegram structure and define each word as you want.

Most important is control word 1 to enable the axis etc. Here you should have a look at the structure of telegram 1 and use the same control bits (e.g. Bit 10 is always required to be send as "1" from the PLC to the drive, otherwise the communication does not work).

How to program and set up the PLC side I cannot say, of course. It would be a much more simple interplay when using a SIMATIC PLC ;)
