Hello najd; Setting your "slave" CPU as a Profinet i-device (connectef to the "master" as IO-controler) seems the easiest way. You can exchage up to 1440 bytes between them, which would allow the transmission of set points, signals and data between the two. Look at the following Application Example for guidance: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/109478798 For information on IWLAN you should start by consulting the following manual: |

Hello naid; PUT/GET instructions are peer-to-peer connections, diferent from Profinet "master/Slave". The important thing if you want to understand PUT/GeETis that they use unilateral connections, that is, they are only configured on one of the partners. If you create PUT and GET functions on S7-1200(1), you create a connection to an Unspecified partner; you do absolutely nothing in S7-1200(2). Also, you can only send and receive 160 bytes between the 2 CPUs over PUT/GET instructions. Follow the hints in the following video (from YouTube): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4k_k8GZuUDk Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
