Conversion of older Comfort panel recipe to Unified parameter set?

DaFo_ALO Member Joined: 10/30/2020 Last visit: 4/15/2025 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	We have a machine that we have more than 100 units out in the world, all of these use TP700 HMI panel. On newer machines of other types, we have started using MTP-panels for a few years. But the machine type mentioned above, has not yet been converted as it relies on many script functions that cannot be converted. One other major issue is that we have several large companies that use this machine, and they have recipe databases of several hundred recipe entries in the TP700 panels. Is there any way of converting these recipes data records to a parameter sets in MTP700 (if we set up the parameter set with the corresponding recipe elements)?

ElonksuM_SN_BN Regular Expert Joined: 5/6/2022 Last visit: 4/16/2025 Posts: 585 Rating: (122)	Hi DaFo_ALO, As indicated in the following link, recipes in Unified have a different concept: "Guide for Migrating to WinCC Unified HMI Devices" In this case, I think that the best way to migrate those recipes from Comfort Panel to Unified Panel is performing the following steps: 1. Export the recipes from Comfort device as csv file. 2. Adjust your recipes accordingly. 3. Export the new created parameter set type from Unified device as tsv file. 4. Add all recipes at once to the tsv file. 5. Import new created parameter sets through Runtime to the Unified Panel using the modified tsv file. This may be an option to try to migrate recipes.
