conversion of S5 to S7

Ryszard_K Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hello. I have a problem with the conversion of S5 to S7. LIR The program includes instruction and TNB, which are not automatically converted. The program was written for the S5-95U and I want to convert it to the S7-314. Function blocks FB 110 and FB 111 (FC 30 FC 31 and after conversion) are called by the open DB 2. What will be the contents of ACCU 1 and ACCU 2 after executing LIR 0 - such as FB 16 (FC 14) Segment 2? On which area of data is executed statement TNB? How to replace LIR instructions and TNB in S7? The amount of bytes is specified after TNB (TNB 8 = copy 8 bytes). The source and destination addresses used by TNB are absolute addresses in the RAM of the CPU. Most of the times, the absolute adrresses needed by TNB must be retrieved using indirect addressing in DB0 (that involves the instruction LIR) + some extra computing. Thereplacement of TNB is SFC20 (just like the migration tool suggests). The simplest way is - find out what bytes the TNB instruction is copying (for instance some datawords in other datawords). - You delete all networks using LIR and that computes absolute adresses. - you call sfc20 instead and you specify the parameters directly in the form CALL SFC 20 ( SRCBLK := P#DB10 DBX0.0 BYTE 8, RET_VAL := conv_ret_val, DSTBLK := P#DB12 DBX20.0BYTE 8 ); This would copy 8 bytes between DB10 starting in DBB0, to DB12 staring in DB20.
