Hello Doris; Most (or all) of the standard FBs present in the S5 programs to be converted are not required in the S7 program. All communication blocks should be removed from the S5 program before conversion, the S7 platform handles communications with its own hardware and functions. The Synchron block has no meaning in the S7 PLCs. Multicomputing (multiple CPUs sharing a common backplane) can only be implemented on S7-400 CPUs, and then synchronization is handled through OB60 (multicomputing interrupt). I am not familiar with the S5 FBs in the 15x range, but with names such as "Selection" (Auswahl) and "Edge"(Flanke) I am sure that the S7 instruction list will show you similar instructions included in the S7 platform. See here (depending on whether you plan toi upgrade to a S7-300 or S7-400 CPU): SIMATIC S7-300 Instruction list S7-300 CPUs and ET 200 CPUs |
