Convert WinCC project from V6.0 sp3 to V6.0 sp4

mattc Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	sp4 wont run an sp3 project and asks me to convert using project migrator. project migrator tells me sybase 7 isn't installed. sybase 7 asks for wincc V5 discs to install am i doing something wrong? how can i get this converted thanks in advance matt

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi matt, Have you checked the final steps of Nemo's FAQ? The migration of the WinCC project was aborted or faulty. Information on the cause for the error can be found in the project folder in the file "CCMigrator.txt". In order to restart the migration, please delete the .mdf files in the project folder firs. Check if the project folder contains the files "<Project name>.ldf" abd "<Project name>.mdf". If these two files are not available, the project cannot be opened. Execute the migration once again. Make sure that both of the above mentioned files are in the project folder when copying and then saving to a different location. WinCC v6.0 SP3 uses SQL, so I think it's kinda weird that it asks for sybase, which was used up till v5.X... are you sure this project was created* under v6???? Check the CCMigrator.txt, and post it here, please. Best regards, Danielle
