converter configuration

dear all,

i want to establish communication between s5 155u and s7 400 via ethernet. i have made a setup using cpu948, cp 143 and s7 400 station,

i can go online to s5 cpu from the pg but facing problem with cp 143 can any one suggest wht will be the interface and cable configuration for going online to cp 143, i am using com 143 software for cp configuration but when i access cp through it says that either the cp is stoped or link between cp and pg is break or wrong interface set in KOMI, i dont know what is KOMI.
the interface set is shown there is as511. and presently i m trying using same tty convertor which i use to make online the s5 cpu.

Dear simaticmanager,

to interface the CP you need in difference to the CPU an active AS511 adaptor. In case of the CPU the supply for the loop is provided by the CPU. In case of the CP you have to provide the power for the loop somehow.
