converting form WLC to PLC

Then you can make a choice what type off plc to use, think about the envirement the machine is working in and about safety. When you made your choice witch cpu to use, try translate your schematic diagram in ladder and start writing your program. Regards, Marcjan

If it's only simple logic you might be able to enter it directly into the PLC from the ladder diagram. We use a few simple documents to convey to the system configurator how the logic must work. "Cause & Effect" to convey logic "Alarm & Trip" to describe alarm & trip setpoints "Process and Instrumentation Diagram" to describe the process. A burner management system incorporates flame monitoring and a purge sequence before starting the burner. They usually require special approval from the boiler authorities, you probably have something like that already if you have a burner or boiler. Perhaps describe your process a little more with some details on your existing control system so that others can help you better. regards

Dear ashan1820, i think the best way is to contact either machine manufacture( for up-gradation of machine WLC to PLC) or contact your local siemens rep.(Automation dept.) who will guide you how to convert WLC to PLC. He will assist you that what kind of PLC is required and all other possible answers to your query. Hope this helps.
