converting step5 to step7

i'm beginner about step5

with step7 converting tool it show me 16 errors and 97 warnings:

warning: "preheader does not exist" (many)

warning:"invalid release"

warning:please check setting for time base

error : es."error in line 566 (fb250):command not defined"

error: "error in line 3706 (fb40) invalid operator"

error: "the program in the OB must be formulated differently (for example using SFCs)"

with this kind of warning/errors what i have to do to go forward step7 program?

Hi

Remove FB250 and you can use fc105 ( scale function ) for analog signals.

Fb40 (PID controller). But FB40 has difference between the PID parameters in the different controller packages in STEP5 and STEP7. Just change and check parameters. Or maybe is better to use FB41.

Errors in OB - see from which OB number. It's possible to receive from OB20, 21, 22, 250 or 251.

OB20 Manual complete (cold) restart;

OB21 Manual (warm) restart;

OB22 Automatic (warm) restart;

Initialize PID Algorithm (OB 250), Process PID Algorithm (OB 251)

Just check what has incide and decide - delete or use in STEP7 format.

This manual STEP 7 - From S5 to S7 is helpfull.

Sorry but the link you posted is not working, could you fix it, please?

I also have some questions, cause I'm migrating from S5 to S7, and I have 16502 lines with 65 errors, from the same type as aleb2 but not the same FBs. How do you suggest us to take decision? which to keep and which delete? It is not easy.
