Hello MoA3121 The "Jump over a BE" command is the S5 way of "know how protecting" a Block. Siemens used this technique to protect their pre-programmed Standard Blocks from unauthorised access (understandably so, the Blocks are generally well documented and this stopped people from "fiddling" with their functionality). Certain OEM's andsomeS5 programmers also used this "Jump over a BE" technique to protect their own in-house developed "propietary" Blocks. While there are ways to overcome this type of protection, there isno need to do so in your case, as your FB69 "Organi" Block is part of a Siemens S5 add-on Packagecalled "Modular PID and Fuzzy Control". I suggest you download themanual for it from HERE,determinethe PID implementation and then implement in your S7 accordingly(rather thantrying to "crack" and convert these S5 Blocks). Should you find that the "normal" S7 PID Block (FB41) does not quite offer the functionality to replace the S5 implementation, have a look at either "S7 Standard PID Control Blocks" or "S7 Modular PID Blocks" library which will offer all the "bells and whistles" that the S5 blocks had (I doubt that Fuzzy control has been used in your S5, but an S7 Fuzzy Block versionis available too if needed). I hope this helps |

good question dearMoA3121,but I'm afraid to say that I can't give you an answer on this one without you providing a tad bit more detail. FB numbers can be changed and at least the name of the FB would be helpful to have to be able to have an educated guess at this. Knowing which ofS5 CPU is used would help too, as it would narrow the list of possible FB candidates. Having said that, assuming that FB38 and 39 are called "RETTEN" and "LADEN" respectively, you'll find them described in the previously mentioned manual (i.e. they are Siemens Standard Blocks). As for the other FB's, here's what I suggest you do: 1.) Look for the FB names (rather thantheir number) in the previously mentioned manual to see if the other FB's are described in it. 2.) If you can't find them in that manual, go to https://support.automation.siemens.com, search for and download the manual of your S5 CPUand see if you find the other FB's in them (again, look for their names rather thantheir number). 3.) If that doesn't help do a search directly for the FB name in the Siemens support site. 4.) Ifthat is unsuccesful too, post the FB numbers & name together with a backup of your S5 program and CPU model info herefor further advise. I hope this helps |
