Copy RAM to ROM using Free telegram configuration with BICO

Hello

I have Sinamics S120 CU310-2 PN with S7-1500. I'm using Profinet (Free telegram configuration with BICO 4/4) for communication. I need activate "Copy RAM to ROM" instruction from the PLC but I can't acces parameter P971. See image attached. Any solution?

Hi, P971 is resident on the Control Unit object and NOT the Drive object (You may need to activate P977 instead).

I even tried to use SINA_PARA_S block in TIA Portal but not works. Any other solution?

Hi, You absolutely cannot link directly to this parameter like you are attempting.

I take it you have you imported the GSDML file into your TIA project for this CU310?

Can you post an image of your SINA_PARA_S block settings?

with SINA_PARA_S it should be possible, it should be just a matter of parameterizing the FB.

There is also an additional library available for SIMATIC to do acyclic communication. In this library you will also find a ready to use block for copying Ram to Rom (FB 30515), here the link to the LAcycCom library:
