Hello MrKankuamo, Is not recommended to do the logging on a remote folder, because as you describe you can have communication problems that makes to lose information. I recomend you to do the log in the local memory and later copy it to the remote folder with the event CopyLog. To be able to exchange files, the shared folders of Windows are used, being the screen only client of these folders. I explain in a PC you must have a shared folder in Windows to which the screen can access. Once you have that folder with the "CopyLog" event you could copy any file from the screen to that path (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/es/en/view/109755202/103441923339). To configure the shared folder with the panel I recommend you to check the following FAQs: - "Integrating HMI Operator Panels in TCP/IP Networks and access to a NAS or to a shared Windows folder": https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/92346478 -"How do you make PC network release visible for the file browser of your HMI operating unit?": https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109742375 - "How do you incorporate an operator panel created with WinCC flexible 2008 into a local network in order to save archive data on the PC?": https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/13336639 |

Thank you Troubleshoot_er How does CopyLog works with segmented circular logs? The functions copies all the segments if there is more than one locally? I assume you have to create two Data logs that are identical but one stored in the remote shared folder and one in the local SD card. I was considering using ArchiveLogFile with a circular log, triggering the function at regular periods shorter than the log would take to completely overwrite all data.
